FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS about FYSETC F6

Post by Tina » Thu Oct 25, 2018 7:47 am

1. Relating to the type of touch display that can be used with the FYSETC F6 1.3 motherboard, can I use the MKS TFT28 display?

Yes, you can.

2. Does the F6 board allow 24V in and 12V fans?

Fans voltage = input voltage

3. Does the F6 board also support 12V supply? So that everything else will be supplied with 12V (Fans, Bed) ?

Yes, all support 12V.

4. What’s actually the right TMC2130 version for the F6?

TMC2130 V1.2 fits for F6 board.

5. Can you tell me the servo pins for F6 board?<https://github.com/FYSETC/Marlin1.1.9Fo ... TC_F6_13.h>

In that example code ,we don’t use any servos,so we don’t define any pins in that file. If you just want to use one servo, we recommend D13.You can add the follow code into the pins file.
[#define] SERVO0_PIN 13

6.How to configure the jumpers in F6 for the TMC2208 1.0

Please check our wiki https://wiki.fysetc.com/F6_V1.3/ , you’ll find more info.

7. My F6 arrived and I'm having some questions and problems. Motor all ok for now!
I am using Marlin 1.1.8 with TMC2130 v1.2 and configured according to the site to send to board.
First is the 0, 1 or 2 FAN does not work. I send the command to connect M106 P0. Testing with the multimeter also without success to see some change.
Second question, I connect the Mosfet on the table and the nozzle I need to connect the BED IN pins in 24v?

First question:
try the follow code with Arduino IDE on F6 and test again:
unsigned char F6_PWM_MOS[10]={5,6,7,8,44,45,46,3,4,9};

void setup()
{
unsigned char i;
for(i=0;i<10;i++)
{
pinMode(F6_PWM_MOS,OUTPUT);
}
}

void loop()
{
int i;
for(j=0;j<10;j++)
{
digitalWrite(RAMPS1_4_IO_MOS,HIGH);
delay(300);
digitalWrite(RAMPS1_4_IO_MOS,LOW);
delay(300);
}

delay(500);
}

Second question:

The BED_IN only for the bed,if you use a hot-bed you must connect the PWR here.

8. For the two Dual Z1 and Z2 axis plugs/wire connections on the F6 board, are they wired in series or parallel?

Parallel.

9.Does anyone have 5v on the Z- Endstop (F6 board)?

See the picture: (<https://wiki.fysetc.com/images/F6V1.3-PIN.svg>)
In oder to support both 5V and 24V . We have specially designed a 3-pin jumper next to Z-min, 24V on the left and 5V on the right.
If you need 5V, connect the middle and right by the jumper cap.
